Scotland, UK – Quartztec are excited to announce, we have started 2021 with the project of upgrading our manufacturing Wash stations throughout our facility in East Kilbride, UK.

Five new temperature-controlled spray systems have arrived, which will replace our existing tank wash systems. These improvements will make a positive impact on our manufacturing processes by improve our manufacturing performance and operational efficiency, within each product’s journey.

This step is only one of several more planned for 2021. We prioritised these improvements in 2021, as the cleanliness of our products is critical within the supply chain – from component wash operations, through to our Final Cleanroom. Using the latest cleaning processes available, will ensure that we continue supplying high quality product to the market.”

The upgrades are critical to ensure our wash infrastructure is suitable for 300mm product. As we move forward in 2021, Quartztec will be offering 300mm product to the Semiconductor Market from Q2 2021.

The upgrade work is being conducted over Q1 of 2021, scheduled to ensure no disruption to product supply.
